The Italians from Fantic have made a name for themselves primarily with mopeds for young people. Now they want to mix up the e-mountain bike market. The XMF 1.7 Carbon Race comes with an independent look and a partially integrated battery.
Also seemingly hopeless inclines the powerful Brose motor easily climbs up well. The Brose Drive S Mag provides a natural riding experience with a dynamic power delivery. Thanks to the good range, longer tours with the XMF 1.7 Carbon Race are no problem.

At a glance

The most importanten ratings of the Fantic XMF 1.7 Carbon Race in comparison to the competitor bikes of following categorie: (6000) .

A good chassis sits in rugged terrain and generates plenty of traction. That's exactly what the good Rock Shox chassis in the XMF 1.7 Carbon Race hits. The thick 38mm stanchions on the fork provide an extra dose of steering precision and performance. At the brakes, Fantic instals upper class brakes with four pistons and large brake rotors from Magura. The narrow #reifen_inch_breite Vittoria tires do not do this Enduros range of use any justice. In our opinion, Fantic has saved weight in the wrong place here. At the drivetrain components and the rest of the parts, Fantic uses average parts. The moderate head tube angle provides a good compromise between stability and agility when going downhill. The reach is also right there in the middle ground. The low bottom bracket height is a party pooper for the handling on the trail. On other bikes, you are more centrally located behind the handlebar.

Conclusion

Expirience with the Fantic XMF 1.7 Carbon Race

The developers of Fantic have created a solid all-rounder with the XMF 1.7 Carbon Race. Even though the E-Mountainbike reveals a weak flank with a middle ground groupset, it remains thanks to an excellent motor, a good chassis and a good brake system:Genetiv a widely applicable vehicle.
