If you compare the Overvolt AM 75th with the rest of the fullys of the Overvolt series, it comes across very down to earth. The concept of the fully with four articulated rear end can almost be called classic.
Bosch is the major motor manufacturer in the EMTB world, alongside Shimano - and it's no surprise, as the Performance Line CX shows. The very well-rounded motor control and the dynamic power output characterise the character of the Bosch motor. This great combination mixed with lots of power, is something only a few other motors at Bosch's level can achieve. Whoever likes to go on long rides will be pleased with the very good range.

At a glance

The most importanten ratings of the Lapierre Overvolt AM 75th in comparison to the competitor bikes of following categorie: (8000) .

As the bumps become faster and harder, the low-quality chassis could limit the descending fun quite early. The thick 38mm stanchions on the fork provide an extra dose of steering precision and performance. Bad brakes reduce the riding pleasure. Fortunately, this is not the case with the Overvolt AM 75th. With their four pistons and large brake rotors the SRAM brake brakes good. The average shifting components and accessories leave some tuning potential open. For most e-bikers, this should be an acceptable point. The moderate head tube angle provides a good compromise between stability and agility when going downhill. The reach is also right there in the middle ground. Due to the short chainstays and the shallow seat angle , when climbing steep sections, it requires active weight shifting to prevent the front wheel from lifting. Overall, the Lapierre developers have done a great job with a very god geometry.

Conclusion

Expirience with the Lapierre Overvolt AM 75th

The Overvolt AM 75th isnt`t a specialist on the trail. Despite a weak chassis and an average groupset, it remains thanks to a fantastic geometry, a very strong range and a good motor a solid all-rounder with a wide range of use.
