Mondraker CRAFTY CARBON RR Review

Bosch is the major motor manufacturer in the EMTB world, alongside Shimano - and it's no surprise, as the Performance Line CX Smart System shows. No matter how steep or technical the climb is: the Bosch motor makes it conquerable! At the same time, the drive provides a very natural feeling while riding with a progressive power delivery. Achieving such a perfect balance between natural support and power is something few other engines can do. Whoever likes to go on long rides will be pleased with the very good range.

The frame is simply top notch, keeping you in control even on rougher trails full of fast hard hits. The thick 38mm stanchions on the fork provide an extra dose of steering precision and performance. Thanks to the solid power, the SRAM brakes can be counted on in the upper class segment. With four pistons and 200 millimeter rotors , Mondraker won't take any chances in that area. The shifting and the rest of the components are always in the shadow of the engine when it comes to electric mountain bikes. Nevertheless, Mondraker doesn't skimp here and instals very good components. The relatively high reach value in the geometry table is compensated by Mondraker with a relatively short stem. Thus, the long main frame remains maneuverable in the terrain.
