Bergamont E-Trailster Pro Review

The Performance Line CX from Bosch shows impressively that they shouldn't be limited to DIY and household products. No matter how steep or technical the climb is: the Bosch motor makes it conquerable! At the same time, the drive provides a very natural feeling while riding with a dynamic power delivery. The well-tuned driving modes hit the mark. Thanks to the good range, longer tours with the E-Trailster Pro are no problem.

Especially on root-strewn trails, the low-quality chassis puts the rider in front of greater challenges than necessary. At the brakes, Bergamont middle class four pistons brakes by Shimano are used. The components and the shifting seem less important for Bergamont. The components used here have a clear potential for improvement after a view at the competitors. The moderate head tube angle provides a good compromise between stability and agility when going downhill. The reach is also right there in the middle ground. The bottom bracket is high, which costs handling points. This tends to make the rider stand on the bike. On other EMTBs it feels better integrated. Too steep and technical uphills are less the comfort zone of the E-Trailster Pro. On bikes with a steeper seat angle and longer chainstays, it is much more relaxed to climb in demanding terrain.
