The BESV brand belongs to the parent company Drafon, which is known for the production of e-bike batteries. The TRS 1.1 is an attempt to also gain a foothold as a complete bike manufacturer.
As a component giant, Shimano is mostly known for its dominant position in bicycle gears. But with the EP8, the Japanese are clearly showing that they can look beyond their own plate too. Steep ramps are no problem for the Shimano motor. Additionally, the Shimano EP8 stands out with a well-rounded riding feeling and a harmonious power delivery. Whoever enjoys longer tours will be pleased with the good range.

Despite a mediocre chassis and an average groupset, it remains thanks to a very good brake system, a good motor and a great range a solid all-rounder with a wide range of use. Check the geometry table carefully before buying: The TRS 1.1 sizing runs small.
