Shimano motors remain at the top of the engine popularity alongside Bosch motors. No wonder, as evidenced by EP8. The Shimano motor takes away the fear of even the steepest ramps. The combination of a natural riding feeling and a harmonious power delivery characterises the Shimano EP8. The average range can become a problem especially for long mountain bike rides.

The good Rock Shox fork dampens small and medium bumps confidently when mountain biking. At the drive components and the remaining parts, BESV uses very good parts. The handling of the bike is pleasantly balanced due to the moderate geometry. This allows you to intuitively control the bike over the trails. The low bottom bracket height will likely be a sticking point for trail riders, as it negatively affects handling. Due to the short chainstays and the shallow seat angle , when climbing steep sections, it requires active weight shifting to prevent the front wheel from lifting. It's no use beating around the bush: the geometry of BESV doesn't suit our taste. Competitors are closer to the cutting edge here.
