BESV's real business is in the production of batteries and accumulators. But with the TRX 1.5, they are also trying their hand on the complete bike market.
Shimano has become the biggest component manufacturer for bicycles thanks to its gear, pedal and brake components. It's clear that the Japanese want to shape the E-Bike trend from this dominant market position. The Shimano motor climbs steep ramps effortlessly. The natural riding feeling combines the Shimano EP8 with a harmonious power delivery. The short range unfortunately limits the tour radius quite significantly.

At a glance

The most importanten ratings of the BESV TRX 1.5 in comparison to the competitor bikes of following categorie: (3000) .

Rough descents take the good Rock Shox fork brand its course, though not with the calmness of a top-end fork. The shifting and the rest of the components are always in the shadow of the engine when it comes to electric mountain bikes. Nevertheless, BESV doesn't skimp here and instals very good components. The handling of the bike is pleasantly balanced due to the moderate geometry. This allows you to intuitively control the bike over the trails. The low bottom bracket height will likely be a sticking point for trail riders, as it negatively affects handling. Short chainstays and and a slack seat angle make the front end light in steep climbs. To keep the front wheel on the ground, you need to consciously lean forward.

Conclusion

Expirience with the BESV TRX 1.5

The TRX 1.5 isnt`t a specialist on the trail. Despite a simple brake system and a weak range, it remains thanks to a very good groupset, a good motor and a good fork a solid all-rounder with a wide range of use. Be careful when choosing the size: The Aluminium frame sizing runs small.
