BH ATOM LYNX 8.1 Review

At steep sections, the somewhat weak BH motor requires a lot of initiative from the rider. The BH 1E-36V gives off a rough riding feeling. The short range unfortunately limits the tour radius quite significantly.

As the hits get faster and harder the average chassis limits the downhill fun. The mid-range brakes from Shimano do their job but could be a bit firmer. The power of the four pistons setup is only average. The narrow #reifen_inch_breite Maxxis tires do not do this All Mountains range of use any justice. In our opinion, BH has saved weight in the wrong place here. The average shifting components and accessories leave some tuning potential open. For most e-bikers, this should be an acceptable point. The handling of the bike is pleasantly balanced due to the moderate geometry. This allows you to intuitively control the bike over the trails. The bottom bracket is high, which costs handling points. This tends to make the rider stand on the bike. On other EMTBs it feels better integrated. It's no use beating around the bush: the geometry of BH doesn't suit our taste. Competitors are closer to the cutting edge here.
