BH ATOM LYNX 8.2 Review

At steep sections, the somewhat weak BH motor requires a lot of initiative from the biker. The BH 1E-36V gives off a digital riding feeling. Thanks to the good range, longer tours with the ATOM LYNX 8.2 are no problem.

The chassis unfortunately isn't great. Riders might lack comfort on rough terrain. Especially for heavy riders, the BH brakes could be a problem. With four pistons they only decelerate averagely. At the drivetrain components and the rest of the parts, BH uses average parts. The moderate head tube angle provides a good compromise between stability and agility when going downhill. The reach is also right there in the middle ground. The low bottom bracket height will likely be a sticking point for trail riders, as it negatively affects handling. Overall, the geometry does not seem to be up to date anymore. The competition is significantly more modern in this regard.
