The bulbous downtube of the iLYNX+ ENDURO PRO 9.9 has become a signature trait of the Spanish brand. There's no deeper meaning behind it.
Shimano has become the biggest component manufacturer for bicycles thanks to its gear, pedal and brake components. It's clear that the Japanese want to shape the E-Bike trend from this dominant market position. Even nasty steep sections are effortlessly climbed by the motor. The Shimano EP801 conveys a riding feeling. Thanks to the good range, longer tours with the iLYNX+ ENDURO PRO 9.9 are no problem.

At a glance

The most importanten ratings of the iLYNX+ ENDURO PRO 9.9 in comparison to the competitor bikes of following categorie: (10000) .

The very good chassis with 160 mm travel also proves to have a lot of resilience even on rougher terrain. Setup-Nerds can squeeze out the maximum performance from the chassis thanks to the many setting options. The thick 38mm stanchions on the fork provide an extra dose of steering precision and performance. At the rear, the steel spring shock absorber provides maximum sensitivity. When it comes to the brakes, BH reaches for the top shelf and instals premium brakes with four pistons and large brake rotors from Shimano. Those who live for premium quality will love the transmission and parts of this EMTB. Here BH cranks up the bling-bling factor to 11. The handling of the bike is pleasantly balanced due to the moderate geometry. This allows you to intuitively control the bike over the trails. The deep bottom bracket also provides excellent cornering and thus contributes to the good handling. Due to the short chainstays and the shallow seat angle , when climbing steep sections, it requires active weight shifting to prevent the front wheel from lifting. Oh boy, with the geometry you have to be ready to make compromises from our perspective. The most important measurements and angles fall slightly out of the grid of good bikes. Of course, a low bottom bracket also has its downside. In technical uphills, the pedal can sometimes touch the ground here. However, we think: This is manageable.

Conclusion

Expirience with the BH iLYNX+ ENDURO PRO 9.9

The iLYNX+ ENDURO PRO 9.9 isnt`t a specialist on the trail. Despite a middle ground motor, it remains thanks to a fantastic groupset, a very good chassis and a very good brake system a solid all-rounder with a wide range of use.
