Shimano has become the biggest component manufacturer for bicycles thanks to its gear, pedal and brake components. It's clear that the Japanese want to shape the E-Bike trend from this dominant market position. The Shimano motor takes away the fear of even the steepest ramps. The combination of a natural riding feeling and a gentle power delivery characterises the Shimano EP8. Whoever enjoys longer tours will be pleased with the good range.

The Fox chassis provides safety and traction, even when the trail gets rougher. However, it comes to its limit at high speed. Especially for heavy riders, the BH brakes could be a problem. With four pistons they only decelerate averagely. Wide tires provide more grip and comfort. BH tends to fit narrow tires with its #reifen_inch_breite BH tires. For an All Mountain, we would prefer wider treads. The average shifting components and accessories leave some tuning potential open. For most e-bikers, this should be an acceptable point. The handling of the bike is pleasantly balanced due to the moderate geometry. This allows you to intuitively control the bike over the trails. The bottom bracket is high, which costs handling points. This tends to make the rider stand on the bike. On other EMTBs it feels better integrated.
