Bionicon Earp 2 Review

The Performance Line CX from Bosch shows impressively that they shouldn't be limited to DIY and household products. No matter how steep or technical the climb is: the Bosch motor makes it conquerable! At the same time, the drive provides a very natural feeling while riding with a dynamic power delivery. This great combination mixed with lots of power, is something only a few other motors at Bosch's level can achieve. Thanks to the good range, longer tours with the Earp 2 are no problem.

The good Rock Shox fork dampens small and medium bumps confidently when mountain biking. In descending situations, the Magura brakes require a lot of hand strength or, optionally, courage from the rider. With two pistons, they only brake poorly. The shifting and the rest of the components are always in the shadow of the engine when it comes to electric mountain bikes. Nevertheless, Bionicon doesn't skimp here and instals very good components. The moderate head tube angle provides a good compromise between stability and agility when going downhill. The reach is also right there in the middle ground.
