It takes a while to visually distinguish the Sonic EVO AM 4 Carbon 750 from all the other Sonic models by Bulls. Their designers really did a great job with the corporate identity and applied the futuristic design to the entire model family. With 150 mm of travel at the front and rear, however, this bike is one of the more downhill-savvy ones among its siblings.
Bosch is the major motor manufacturer in the EMTB world, alongside Shimano - and it's no surprise, as the Performance Line CX Smart System shows. No matter how steep or technical the climb is: the Bosch motor makes it conquerable! At the same time, the drive provides a very natural feeling while riding with a progressive power delivery. The well-tuned riding modes cater to bikers of all preferences. Thanks to the very good range, you should no longer have any range problems even on very long tours.

Rough descents take away some of the fear thanks to the average chassis. When it comes to the brakes, Bulls reaches for the top shelf and instals premium brakes with four pistons and 2 millimeter rotors from Shimano. At the drivetrain components and the rest of the parts, Bulls uses average parts. The handling of the bike is pleasantly balanced due to the moderate geometry. This allows you to intuitively control the bike over the trails. The low bottom bracket height will likely be a sticking point for trail riders, as it negatively affects handling. Due to the short chainstays and the shallow seat angle , when climbing steep sections, it requires active weight shifting to prevent the front wheel from lifting.

Conclusion

Expirience with the Bulls Sonic EVO AM 4 Carbon 750

Overall, the Sonic EVO AM 4 Carbon 750 is, due to an outstanding motor, a very good brake system and a very strong range is a good all-rounder for long trips on challenging trails. Only a middle ground chassis and a mediocre groupset slightly tarnish the otherwise successful overall picture.
