The appearance of the Spectral ONfly LTD is strikingly similar to that of the non-motorized Spectral. Canyon has truly pulled off a masterstroke here. A standout feature is the integration of the K.I.S. steering stabilizer in the top tube. Through two small springs, the handlebars are subtly pushed back to a straight-ahead position, which is particularly helpful in edge-of-control situations when the front wheel starts to slide, helping to prevent a crash.
The TQ HPR 50 is not one of the powerhouses on the market. The somewhat low torque engine could use a bit more support, especially on steep climbs. The motor control of TQ conveys a very well-rounded riding experience. The gentle power delivery is an ace up the sleeve of the HPR 50. The short range unfortunately limits the tour radius quite significantly. The integrated battery gives developers constructive freedom when designing the frame. However, to charge it, the bike always has to be brought near an outlet.

At a glance

The most importanten ratings of the Canyon Spectral ONfly LTD in comparison to the competitor bikes of following categorie: (9000) .

The frame is simply top notch, keeping you in control even on rougher trails full of fast hard hits. Bad brakes reduce the riding pleasure. Fortunately, this is not the case with the Spectral ONfly LTD. With their four pistons and 2 disc brakes the SRAM brake brakes good. In the area of shifting and the overall parts, Canyon ist on the money. The superb accessories make sure people will notice this bike, no matter where you rock up with it. In view of the high reach value, it becomes clear: The main frame is long. However, the generous reach is compensated for by a very short stem. This way, Canyon creates a good weight distribution between the wheels and a balanced handling. The weight of a bike is a key factor for the fun of riding. With 18,1 kg, the Spectral ONfly LTD is one of the lightest Trailbikes on the market. This turns the bike into a real joyride on the trail. Especially going downhill, the good geometry of the Spectral ONfly LTD really shines.

Conclusion

Expirience with the Canyon Spectral ONfly LTD

If you're looking for a comfortable ride for everyday use, the Spectral ONfly LTD isn't for you, because this bike only knows one gear when going downhill - full throttle! With an extremely good groupset, an excellent geometry and a very good chassis, it puts most of the competition when it gets really gnarly in its place.
