Conway Xyron S 9.9 MX Carbon Review

Bosch is the major motor manufacturer in the EMTB world, alongside Shimano - and it's no surprise, as the Performance Line CX shows. The very natural motor control and the progressive power output characterise the character of the Bosch motor. The well-tuned riding modes cater to bikers of all preferences. Whoever likes to go on long rides will be pleased with the very good range.

The top notch Rock Shox chassis absorbs big hits like Chuck Norris and provides a lot of traction and control. The thick 38mm stanchions on the fork provide an extra dose of steering precision and performance. Bad brakes reduce the riding pleasure. Fortunately, this is not the case with the Xyron S 9.9 MX Carbon. With their four pistons and large brake rotors the TRP brake brakes good. At the drive components and the remaining parts, Conway uses very good parts. The handling of the bike is pleasantly balanced due to the moderate geometry. This allows you to intuitively control the bike over the trails. The low bottom bracket height will likely be a sticking point for trail riders, as it negatively affects handling. Short chainstays and and a slack seat angle make the front end light in steep climbs. To keep the front wheel on the ground, you need to consciously lean forward. It's no use beating around the bush: the geometry of Conway doesn't suit our taste. Competitors are closer to the cutting edge here.
