Corratec E-POWER X VERT PRO SHADOW EDGE GENT 2022e-Mountainbike Review

The Performance Line CX from Bosch shows impressively that they shouldn't be limited to DIY and household products. The Bosch motor climbs steep ramps effortlessly. The very natural riding feeling combines the Bosch Performance Line CX with a dynamic power delivery. This great combination mixed with lots of power, is something only a few other motors at Bosch's level can achieve. Thanks to the good range, longer tours with the E-POWER X VERT PRO are no problem.

On rough terrain, the E-POWER X VERT PRO, with its only average fork, lacks some control. The mid-range brakes from Shimano do their job but could be a bit firmer. The power of the four pistons setup with small 180 brake rotors is only average. The average shifting components and accessories leave some tuning potential open. For most e-bikers, this should be an acceptable point. The moderate head tube angle provides a good compromise between stability and agility when going downhill. The reach is also right there in the middle ground. Overall, the Corratec developers have done a great job with a very god geometry.
