CUBE REACTION HYBRID ONE 500 Review

The Performance Line CX Smart System from Bosch shows impressively that they shouldn't be limited to DIY and household products. No matter how steep or technical the climb is: the Bosch motor makes it conquerable! At the same time, the drive provides a very well-rounded feeling while riding with a progressive power delivery. This great combination mixed with lots of power, is something only a few other motors at Bosch's level can achieve. The average range can become a problem especially for long mountain bike rides.

The SR Suntour fork on beginner level was stingy with comfort. In descending situations, the Shimano brakes require a lot of hand strength or, optionally, courage from the rider. With two pistons and small 18 brake rotors, they only brake poorly. The components and the shifting seem less important for CUBE. The components used here have a clear potential for improvement after a view at the competitors. The moderate head tube angle provides a good compromise between stability and agility when going downhill. The reach is also right there in the middle ground. On the scale, the REACTION HYBRID ONE 500 makes a good figure with 22,7 kg. Most Einsteiger-Bikes are significantly heavier.
