Bosch is the major motor manufacturer in the EMTB world, alongside Shimano - and it's no surprise, as the Performance Line CX Smart System shows. The Bosch motor climbs steep ramps effortlessly. The very natural riding feeling combines the Bosch Performance Line CX Smart System with a dynamic power delivery. This great combination mixed with lots of power, is something only a few other motors at Bosch's level can achieve. Thanks to the very good range, you should no longer have any range problems even on very long tours.

The chassis unfortunately isn't great. Riders might lack comfort on rough terrain. The thick 38mm stanchions on the fork provide an extra dose of steering precision and performance. Especially for heavy riders, the CUBE brakes could be a problem. With two pistons they only decelerate averagely. The components and the shifting seem less important for CUBE. The components used here have a clear potential for improvement after a view at the competitors. The handling of the bike is pleasantly balanced due to the moderate geometry. This allows you to intuitively control the bike over the trails. The bottom bracket is high, which costs handling points. This tends to make the rider stand on the bike. On other EMTBs it feels better integrated. Due to the short chainstays and the shallow seat angle , when climbing steep sections, it requires active weight shifting to prevent the front wheel from lifting.
