Around the damper, the XTF 1.6 Carbon Factory super filigree struts. The carbon main frame makes this individual design possible. Cables run like most high-end bikes through the headset and are barely visible from the rider's perspective.
The high-torque Brose motor climbs steep ramps effortlessly. The natural riding feeling combines the Brose Drive S Mag with a dynamic power delivery. Thanks to the good range, longer tours with the XTF 1.6 Carbon Factory are no problem.

At a glance

The most importanten ratings of the Fantic XTF 1.6 Carbon Factory in comparison to the competitor bikes of following categorie: (12000) .

The good Rock Shox chassis confidently dampens small and medium bumps. The mid-range brakes from Magura do their job but could be a bit firmer. The power of the four pistons in front and two pistons in the rear setup is only average. Wide tires provide more grip and comfort. Fantic tends to fit narrow tires with its #reifen_inch_breite Fantic tires. For an All Mountain, we would prefer wider treads. At the drivetrain components and the rest of the parts, Fantic uses average parts. When it comes to the geometry, Fantic does not go completely crazy. The head tube angle and reach values were chosen with care. The result: A balanced riding behaviour with a good combination of playfulness and straight-line stability. The bottom bracket is high, which costs handling points. This tends to make the rider stand on the bike. On other EMTBs it feels better integrated. It's no use beating around the bush: the geometry of Fantic doesn't suit our taste. Competitors are closer to the cutting edge here.

Conclusion

Expirience with the Fantic XTF 1.6 Carbon Factory

With an average brake system and a middle ground groupset, the XTF 1.6 Carbon Factory definitely has weaknesses. Nevertheless, it remains a solid all-rounder with a wide range of abilities , thanks to a fantastic motor, a good chassis and a Impressive range.
