Focus JAM² 6.8 Review

Bosch is the major motor manufacturer in the EMTB world, alongside Shimano - and it's no surprise, as the Performance Line CX Smart System shows. No matter how steep or technical the climb is: the Bosch motor makes it conquerable! At the same time, the drive provides a very natural feeling while riding with a progressive power delivery. Achieving such a perfect balance between natural support and power is something few other engines can do. Whoever likes to go on long rides will be pleased with the very good range.

A good chassis sits in rugged terrain and generates plenty of traction. That's exactly what the good Fox chassis in the JAM² 6.8 hits. Especially for heavy riders, the Focus brakes could be a problem. With four pistons they only decelerate averagely. The average shifting components and accessories leave some tuning potential open. For most e-bikers, this should be an acceptable point. The handling of the bike is pleasantly balanced due to the moderate geometry. This allows you to intuitively control the bike over the trails. The low bottom bracket height is a party pooper for the handling on the trail. On other bikes, you are more centrally located behind the handlebar. The view of the weight of 25,5 kg reveals: There are lighter All Mountains.
