Focus JAM² 6.7 Review

There are few companies with such a wide E-MTB product range as Focus. The JAM² 6.7 is one of the most successful E-MTBs ever developed in Stuttgart.
Bosch is the major motor manufacturer in the EMTB world, alongside Shimano - and it's no surprise, as the Performance Line CX shows. The very natural motor control and the dynamic power output characterise the character of the Bosch motor. The well-tuned driving modes hit the mark. Fans of XXL tours are greatly restricted by the JAM² 6.7 with only an average range.

At a glance

The most importanten ratings of the Focus JAM² 6.7 in comparison to the competitor bikes of following categorie: (5000) .

The chassis unfortunately isn't great. Riders might lack comfort on rough terrain. Especially for heavy riders, the Focus brakes could be a problem. With four pistons they only decelerate averagely. Shifting and components still leave room for improvement. Other providers dig deeper into their pockets for these assemblies. The handling of the bike is pleasantly balanced due to the moderate geometry. This allows you to intuitively control the bike over the trails. The low bottom bracket height is a party pooper for the handling on the trail. On other bikes, you are more centrally located behind the handlebar.

Value for money

Conclusion

Expirience with the Focus JAM² 6.7

If you want to experience the much-vaunted uphill flow, the JAM² 6.7 is a hot candidate for you. Overall, the JAM² 6.7 is a good climber for tours on extremely demanding single trails. But with a simple groupset and a mediocre range there are also criticisms that come with the overall package. The warranty of 6 years proves that Focus has a lot of trust in its products.
