Focus JAM² 6.9 Review

The Performance Line CX from Bosch shows impressively that they shouldn't be limited to DIY and household products. The Bosch motor climbs steep ramps effortlessly. The very natural riding feeling combines the Bosch Performance Line CX with a dynamic power delivery. The well-tuned riding modes cater to bikers of all preferences. The average range can become a problem especially for long mountain bike rides.

The Fox chassis provides safety and traction, even when the trail gets rougher. However, it comes to its limit at high speed. When it comes to the brakes, Focus reaches for the top shelf and instals premium brakes with four pistons and large brake rotors from Shimano. At the drivetrain components and the rest of the parts, Focus uses average parts. The handling of the bike is pleasantly balanced due to the moderate geometry. This allows you to intuitively control the bike over the trails. The low bottom bracket height is a party pooper for the handling on the trail. On other bikes, you are more centrally located behind the handlebar. Overall, the geometry does not seem to be up to date anymore. The competition is significantly more modern in this regard.
