Focus JARIFA² 6.7 Review

Bosch is the major motor manufacturer in the EMTB world, alongside Shimano - and it's no surprise, as the Performance Line CX shows. No matter how steep or technical the climb is: the Bosch motor makes it conquerable! At the same time, the drive provides a very natural feeling while riding with a dynamic power delivery. This great combination mixed with lots of power, is something only a few other motors at Bosch's level can achieve. Whoever enjoys longer tours will be pleased with the good range.

In rough terrain, the JARIFA² 6.7 lacks a bit of control with its only average fork. At the brakes, Focus reaches for the bottom of the Shimano shelf and instals poor brakes with two pistons and small 18 brake rotors. The average shifting components and accessories leave some tuning potential open. For most e-bikers, this should be an acceptable point. When it comes to the geometry, Focus does not go completely crazy. The head tube angle and reach values were chosen with care. The result: A balanced riding behaviour with a good combination of playfulness and straight-line stability. With its 22,7 kg, the JARIFA² 6.7 is one of the lighter E-bikes. The competition is often significantly heavier.
