The steed Johannes "Fischi" Fischbach is bringing to the E-MTB World Cup is looking sharp. We'd go so far as to say it's the slickest bike in the GASGAS lineup.
Sram is aiming to elevate system integration in E-Bikes to a new level with its own Eagle Powertrain engine. For this, the Americans are technically relying on hardware from the German manufacturer Brose and mainly scoring points with innovative software that completely relieves the rider of the need to shift gears through its Autoshift function. If desired, the 12 gears of the Transmission drive can still be manually shifted. As is customary with Brose motors, the Eagle Powertrain motor operates very quietly. The power development is $dynamic and the 9 Nm torque takes the fear out of even the steepest inclines. The average range can become a problem especially for long mountain bike rides.

At a glance

The most importanten ratings of the ECC 6 in comparison to the competitor bikes of following categorie: (10000) .

The good DVO chassis confidently dampens small and medium bumps. At the rear, the steel spring shock absorber provides maximum sensitivity. With its four pistons and larger brake rotors the SRAM braking system decelerates extremely goodly. This allows you to maintain control over your own pace even in the steepest descents. The components and the gears are less in the spotlight with an EMTB than with bikes without motor. Nevertheless, when we take a look we find out that here, good components are always used. The reach - or rather the main frame - of the GASGASs is long. This puts the ECC 6 right on trend. The remaining values from the geometry table also orientate this bike according to the zeitgeist and leave a really thought-through impression.

Conclusion

Expirience with the GASGAS ECC 6

Overall, an extremely good geometry, a very good brake system and a good chassis speak a clear language. The ECC 6 is a good bike with mini-downhill DNA
