Ghost E-Riot EN Universal Review

Bosch is the major motor manufacturer in the EMTB world, alongside Shimano - and it's no surprise, as the Performance Line CX shows. Steep ramps are no problem for the Bosch motor. Additionally, the Bosch Performance Line CX stands out with a very well-rounded riding feeling and a dynamic power delivery. The well-tuned driving modes hit the mark. The average range can become a problem especially for long mountain bike rides.

The good Fox chassis confidently dampens small and medium bumps. The thick 38mm stanchions on the fork provide an extra dose of steering precision and performance. At the rear, the steel spring shock absorber provides maximum sensitivity. The mid-range brakes from Formula do their job but could be a bit firmer. The power of the four pistons setup is only average. The components and the gears are less in the spotlight with an EMTB than with bikes without motor. Nevertheless, when we take a look we find out that here, good components are always used. High Reach values are in full trend. So, the E-Riot EN Universal has an on-trend geometry. However, the bike requires a courageous body effort to hit the lines in the singletrail. For less experienced riders, this is often unfamiliar.
