No matter how steep or technical the climb is: the Giant motor makes it conquerable! At the same time, the drive provides a well-rounded feeling while riding with a progressive power delivery. Fans of XXL tours are greatly restricted by the FATHOM E+ 1 PRO 625WH with only an average range.

Rough descents take the good Rock Shox fork brand its course, though not with the calmness of a top-end fork. The mid-range brakes from Shimano do their job but could be a bit firmer. The power of the four pistons setup is only average. The average shifting components and accessories leave some tuning potential open. For most e-bikers, this should be an acceptable point. When it comes to the geometry, Giant does not go completely crazy. The head tube angle and reach values were chosen with care. The result: A balanced riding behaviour with a good combination of playfulness and straight-line stability. The bottom bracket is high, which costs handling points. This tends to make the rider stand on the bike. On other EMTBs it feels better integrated. Even when it gets really steep, the long chainstays will stick the front wheel to the ground.
