Despite the tightly calculated price of the Talon E+ 3, Giant manages to integrate the battery into the down tube.
At steep sections, the somewhat weak Giant motor requires a lot of initiative from the rider. The Giant SyncDrive Core gives off a well-rounded riding feeling. The short range unfortunately limits the tour radius quite significantly.

At a glance

The most importanten ratings of the Giant Talon E+ 3 in comparison to the competitor bikes of following categorie: (2000) .

In rough terrain, the Talon E+ 3 lacks a bit of control with its only average fork. At the brakes, Giant reaches for the bottom of the Tektro shelf and instals simple brakes with two pistons. The components and the shifting seem less important for Giant. The components used here have a clear potential for improvement after a view at the competitors. The moderate head tube angle provides a good compromise between stability and agility when going downhill. The reach is also right there in the middle ground.

Value for money

Conclusion

Expirience with the Giant Talon E+ 3

A solid price-performance ratio and very good all-round capabilities. The Talon E+ 3 combines both of these features. This way Giant builds a coherent bike for trips on gravel roads and simple forest paths. No Yin without Yang. With a weak brake system and a simple groupset, the Talon E+ 3 has its weaknesses too. With 25 years of warranty, nothing stands in the way of a long-term relationship.
