Giant TRANCE X ADVANCED E+ 2 [29″/PRO/625WH] Review

Even if the optical differences to the aluminium version are small, the TRANCE X ADVANCED E+ 2 looks a bit more organic in its design language. Of course, also in the mountain bike segment, the long-proven Maestro rear triangle from Giant is used.
Steep ramps are no problem for the Giant motor. Additionally, the Giant SyncDrive Pro2 stands out with a well-rounded riding feeling and a progressive power delivery. The average range can become a problem especially for long mountain bike rides.

At a glance

The most importanten ratings of the TRANCE X ADVANCED E+ 2 [29"/PRO/625WH] in comparison to the competitor bikes of following categorie: (7000) .

Carbon frames are rather the exception in the price range of about 6500€. With the carbon fibre chassis, Giant thus sets clear accents compared to the aluminium competitors. Solid endurance qualities are shown by the chassis of medium quality. Especially for heavy riders, the Giant brakes could be a problem. With four pistons they only decelerate averagely. The average shifting components and accessories leave some tuning potential open. For most e-bikers, this should be an acceptable point. High Reach values are in full trend. So, the TRANCE X ADVANCED E+ 2 has an on-trend geometry. However, the bike requires a courageous body effort to hit the lines in the singletrail. For less experienced riders, this is often unfamiliar.

Conclusion

Expirience with the Giant TRANCE X ADVANCED E+ 2 [29″/PRO/625WH]

The TRANCE X ADVANCED E+ 2 isnt`t a specialist on the trail. Despite a mediocre chassis and a middle ground brake system, it remains thanks to a good motor and a good geometry a solid all-rounder with a wide range of use. Giant gives a warranty of 25 years on the bike.
