The TRANCE X DVANCED E+ ELITE 3 is the spearhead in Giant's E-MTB development. The concept with a small integrated battery, the option of a range extender and full engine power is not entirely new, but nevertheless implemented absolutely consistently in the TRANCE X DVANCED E+ ELITE 3. This is how Giant wants to reconcile power, range and weight.
Steep ramps are no problem for the Giant motor. Additionally, the Giant SyncDrive Pro2 stands out with a well-rounded riding feeling and a progressive power delivery. Fans of XXL tours are greatly restricted by the TRANCE X DVANCED E+ ELITE 3 , because of its low range.

Rough descents take away some of the fear thanks to the average chassis. At the brakes, Giant middle class four pistons brakes by Shimano are used. This allows you to intuitively control the bike over the trails. The bottom bracket is high, which costs handling points. This tends to make the rider stand on the bike. On other EMTBs it feels better integrated. Due to the short chainstays , when climbing steep sections, it requires active weight shifting to prevent the front wheel from lifting. It's no use beating around the bush: the geometry of Giant doesn't suit our taste. Competitors are closer to the cutting edge here. On the scale, the TRANCE X DVANCED E+ ELITE 3 makes a good figure with 20,3 kg. Most All Mountains are significantly heavier.
