Haibike AllMtn 2 Review

Haibike is considered a pioneer among e-mountain bike manufacturers. The AllMtn 2 comes with a futuristic look but is by no means dusty.
Also steepest climbs the Yamaha motor easily climbs up well. The Yamaha PW-X3 provides a natural riding experience with a progressive power delivery. Fans of XXL tours are greatly restricted by the AllMtn 2 with only an average range.

At a glance

The most importanten ratings of the Haibike AllMtn 2 in comparison to the competitor bikes of following categorie: (5000) .

The chassis unfortunately isn't great. Riders might lack comfort on rough terrain. Especially for heavy riders, the Haibike brakes could be a problem. With four pistons they only decelerate averagely. The average shifting components and accessories leave some tuning potential open. For most e-bikers, this should be an acceptable point. When it comes to the geometry, Haibike does not go completely crazy. The head tube angle and reach values were chosen with care. The result: A balanced riding behaviour with a good combination of playfulness and straight-line stability. The low bottom bracket height is a party pooper for the handling on the trail. On other bikes, you are more centrally located behind the handlebar.

Conclusion

Expirience with the Haibike AllMtn 2

With a poor chassis and an average brake system, the AllMtn 2 definitely has weaknesses. Nevertheless, it remains a solid all-rounder with a wide range of abilities.
