Bosch is the major motor manufacturer in the EMTB world, alongside Shimano - and it's no surprise, as the Performance Line CX shows. No matter how steep or technical the climb is: the Bosch motor makes it conquerable! At the same time, the drive provides a very natural feeling while riding with a progressive power delivery. The well-tuned riding modes cater to bikers of all preferences. The average range can become a problem especially for long mountain bike rides.

If the trail gets rougher however, the comparatively weak chassis can quickly limit the downhill fun. The mid-range brakes from Shimano do their job but could be a bit firmer. The power of the four pistons setup is only average. Shifting and components still leave room for improvement. Other providers dig deeper into their pockets for these assemblies. The handling of the bike is pleasantly balanced due to the moderate geometry. This allows you to intuitively control the bike over the trails. The low bottom bracket height will likely be a sticking point for trail riders, as it negatively affects handling.
