Even though Hercules has the image of a traditional brand, the product developers mix a 29er front wheel with a 27.5 inch rear wheel in the Nos FS 1.1. We think that's a pretty progressive approach for a brand that normally deals with trekking bikes.
No matter how steep or technical the climb is: the high torque Brose motor makes it conquerable! At the same time, the drive provides a natural feeling while riding with a progressive power delivery. Whoever enjoys longer tours will be pleased with the good range.

At the drivetrain components and the rest of the parts, Hercules uses average parts. The handling of the bike is pleasantly balanced due to the moderate geometry. This allows you to intuitively control the bike over the trails. The low bottom bracket height is a party pooper for the handling on the trail. On other bikes, you are more centrally located behind the handlebar.

With a middle ground chassis and a mediocre groupset, the Nos FS 1.1 definitely has weaknesses. Nevertheless, it remains a solid all-rounder with a wide range of abilities , thanks to an outstanding motor, a very good brake system and a great range.
