With the double-bridge fork and the rough look, the Extreme Cross 10 almost looks like a motocross machine. There's no need to speculate about the intended range of use.
Shimano has become the biggest component manufacturer for bicycles thanks to its gear, pedal and brake components. It's clear that the Japanese want to shape the E-Bike trend from this dominant market position. The natural motor control and the harmonious power output characterise the character of the Shimano motor. Fans of XXL tours are greatly restricted by the Extreme Cross 10 with only an average range.

At a glance

The most importanten ratings of the Husqvarna Extreme Cross 10 in comparison to the competitor bikes of following categorie: (8000) .

The very good chassis with 203 mm travel in the front and 200 mm rear hub also proves to have a lot of resilience even on rougher terrain. Setup-Nerds can squeeze out the maximum performance from the chassis thanks to the many setting options. At the rear, the steel spring shock absorber provides maximum sensitivity. At the brakes, Husqvarna middle class four pistons brakes by Magura are used. The components and the gears are less in the spotlight with an EMTB than with bikes without motor. Nevertheless, when we take a look we find out that here, good components are always used. The handling of the bike is pleasantly balanced due to the moderate geometry. This allows you to intuitively control the bike over the trails. For additional points in downhill handling, the low bottom bracket integrates the rider well into the bike and pulls the centre of gravity down. Oh boy, with the geometry you have to be ready to make compromises from our perspective. The most important measurements and angles fall slightly out of the grid of good bikes. The deep bottom bracket can however lead to crank strikes in technical uphills and disrupt the climbing flow.

Conclusion

Expirience with the Husqvarna Extreme Cross 10

The developers of Husqvarna have created a solid all-rounder with the Extreme Cross 10. Even though the E-Mountainbike reveals a weak flank with a mediocre brake system and an average range, it remains thanks to a very good chassis, a good motor and a good groupset:Genetiv a widely applicable vehicle.
