The battery lying flat above the motor is certainly something special. The Overvolt GLP 2 Elite has a particularly low center of gravity thanks to this design, which should benefit the riding fun in the single trail.
The Performance Line CX from Bosch shows impressively that they shouldn't be limited to DIY and household products. Even gnarly inclines the Bosch motor easily climbs up well. The Bosch Performance Line CX provides a very natural riding experience with a progressive power delivery. Achieving such a perfect balance between natural support and power is something few other engines can do. The short range unfortunately limits the tour radius quite significantly.

The components used here have a clear potential for improvement after a view at the competitors. The moderate head tube angle provides a good compromise between stability and agility when going downhill. The reach is also right there in the middle ground. Short chainstays and and a slack seat angle make the front end light in steep climbs. To keep the front wheel on the ground, you need to consciously lean forward. Overall, the Lapierre developers have done a great job with a very god geometry.

The Overvolt GLP 2 Elite isnt`t a specialist on the trail. Despite a poor chassis and a simple groupset, it remains thanks to a fantastic geometry, a good motor and a good brake system a solid all-rounder with a wide range of use.
