Mondraker LEVEL R Review

The Performance Line CX Smart System from Bosch shows impressively that they shouldn't be limited to DIY and household products. Steep ramps are no problem for the Bosch motor. Additionally, the Bosch Performance Line CX Smart System stands out with a very well-rounded riding feeling and a dynamic power delivery. Achieving such a perfect balance between natural support and power is something few other engines can do. Whoever likes to go on long rides will be pleased with the very good range.

A good chassis sits in rugged terrain and generates plenty of traction. That's exactly what the good Fox chassis in the LEVEL R hits. The thick 38mm stanchions on the fork provide an extra dose of steering precision and performance. At the rear, the steel spring shock absorber provides maximum sensitivity. Bad brakes reduce the riding pleasure. Fortunately, this is not the case with the LEVEL R. With their four pistons and large brake rotors the SRAM brake brakes good. The components and the gears are less in the spotlight with an EMTB than with bikes without motor. Nevertheless, when we take a look we find out that here, good components are always used. The handling of the bike is pleasantly balanced due to the moderate geometry. This allows you to intuitively control the bike over the trails. The low bottom bracket height is a party pooper for the handling on the trail. On other bikes, you are more centrally located behind the handlebar. Hell yeah, the geometry is killer! Here the know-how of the Mondraker developers is videly visible. Also, weight is an important factor when it comes to EMTB. The LEVEL R isn't exactly shining in this regard. There are lighter Enduros on the market.
