Mondraker LEVEL RR Review

The Performance Line CX Smart System from Bosch shows impressively that they shouldn't be limited to DIY and household products. No matter how steep or technical the climb is: the Bosch motor makes it conquerable! At the same time, the drive provides a very well-rounded feeling while riding with a progressive power delivery. The well-tuned riding modes cater to bikers of all preferences. Whoever likes to go on long rides will be pleased with the very good range.

The top notch Fox chassis absorbs big hits like Chuck Norris and provides a lot of traction and control. Setup-Nerds can squeeze out the maximum performance from the chassis thanks to the many setting options. The thick 38mm stanchions on the fork provide an extra dose of steering precision and performance. At the rear, the steel spring shock absorber provides maximum sensitivity. At the brakes, Mondraker instals upper class brakes with four pistons and large brake rotors from SRAM. Taking a holistic approach also includes looking at the gearing and components. The components are of good qualtiy and offer no reason for criticism here. The moderate head tube angle provides a good compromise between stability and agility when going downhill. The reach is also right there in the middle ground. The low bottom bracket height will likely be a sticking point for trail riders, as it negatively affects handling. Overall, the Mondraker developers have done a great job with a god geometry. Also, weight is an important factor when it comes to EMTB. The LEVEL RR isn't exactly shining in this regard. There are lighter Enduros on the market.
