The Neat RR is the first light EMTB from Mondraker. In the new development, the Spaniards combine their undisputed expertise in lightweight construction and design. The clean lines and the barely visible motor conceal the fact that this is an e-bike almost perfectly. The development goal of getting the Neat as close as possible to a bike without a motor in terms of looks and handling is clearly achieved. This makes the Neat RR a great addition to the Mondraker Crafty, the Spaniards' full-power EMTB.

In steep sections the somewhat low torque TQ motor requires a lot of initiative from the rider. The TQ HPR 50 provides a very natural riding experience. The power delivery is always harmonious. Fans of XXL tours are greatly restricted by the Neat RR , because of its low range.

At a glance

The most importanten ratings of the Mondraker Neat RR in comparison to the competitor bikes of following categorie: (10000) .

The frame is simply top notch, keeping you in control even on rougher trails full of fast hard hits. At the brakes, Mondraker middle class four pistons brakes by SRAM are used. A nice touch: The gear and components are on a very good level. The relatively high reach value in the geometry table is compensated by Mondraker with a relatively short stem. Thus, the long main frame remains maneuverable in the terrain. With the weight of 18,3 kg, Mondraker puts the competition in a state of shock. Indeed, among All Mountains, it is hard to find a lighter model. The riding pleasure is guaranteed. An e-mountain bike is most fun when it can be ridden on a single track like a bike without a motor. The combination of good weight and pleasant geometry give the Neat RR the same natural and nimble handling as you know from non-motorised mountain bikes. Really only a few manufacturers manage to get this right.

Conclusion

Expirience with the Mondraker Neat RR

If you're looking for a comfortable ride for everyday use, the Neat RR isn't for you, because this bike only knows one gear when going downhill - full throttle! With an excellent handling and a very good chassis, it puts most of the competition when it gets really gnarly in its place. Where there's light, there's inevitably shadows as well. With a middle ground brake system, Neat RR has its weak points too. The warranty of 25 years proves that Mondraker has a lot of trust in its products.
