Nox HYBRID ALL-MTN 5.9 SACHS SMOKE EXPERT Review

Even nasty steep sections are effortlessly climbed by the motor. The Sachs RS conveys a riding feeling. The short range unfortunately limits the tour radius quite significantly.

The good Rock Shox chassis confidently dampens small and medium bumps. The mid-range brakes from Magura do their job but could be a bit firmer. The power of the four pistons setup is only average. The narrow #reifen_inch_breite Continental tires do not do this All Mountains range of use any justice. In our opinion, Nox has saved weight in the wrong place here. The components and the gears are less in the spotlight with an EMTB than with bikes without motor. Nevertheless, when we take a look we find out that here, good components are always used. The moderate head tube angle provides a good compromise between stability and agility when going downhill. The reach is also right there in the middle ground. For additional points in downhill handling, the low bottom bracket integrates the rider well into the bike and pulls the centre of gravity down. It's no use beating around the bush: the geometry of Nox doesn't suit our taste. Competitors are closer to the cutting edge here. The deep bottom bracket can however lead to crank strikes in technical uphills and disrupt the climbing flow.
