Orbea KERAM 30 27.5 Review

Bosch is the major motor manufacturer in the EMTB world, alongside Shimano - and it's no surprise, as the Active Line shows. At steep sections, the rather weak Bosch motor requires a lot of initiative from the rider. The Bosch Active Line gives off a well-rounded riding feeling. Fans of XXL tours are greatly restricted by the KERAM 30 27.5 , because of its low range.

In rough terrain, the KERAM 30 27.5 lacks a bit of control with its only average fork. At the brakes, Orbea reaches for the bottom of the Shimano shelf and instals simple brakes with two pistons and small 18 brake rotors. The components and the shifting seem less important for Orbea. The components used here have a clear potential for improvement after a view at the competitors. The moderate head tube angle provides a good compromise between stability and agility when going downhill. The reach is also right there in the middle ground. The low bottom bracket height is a party pooper for the handling on the trail. On other bikes, you are more centrally located behind the handlebar. On the scale, the KERAM 30 27.5 makes a good figure with 22,67 kg. Most Einsteiger-Bikes are significantly heavier.
