Due to elegant welds and hydroformed tubes, it is hardly noticeable that the WILD H10 has an aluminium frame. At first glance, therefore, its easy to confuse it with the more expensive carbon model. Like its big brother, the aluminium version was unconditionally designed for riding fun on rough trails.
Bosch is the major motor manufacturer in the EMTB world, alongside Shimano - and it's no surprise, as the Performance Line CX shows. The very well-rounded motor control and the progressive power output characterise the character of the Bosch motor. The well-tuned driving modes hit the mark. Thanks to the very good range, you should no longer have any range problems even on very long tours. The integrated battery gives developers constructive freedom when designing the frame. However, to charge it, the bike always has to be brought near an outlet.

At a glance

The most importanten ratings of the Orbea WILD H10 in comparison to the competitor bikes of following categorie: (7000) .

The good Fox chassis absorbs even larger roots with the calmness of a Buddhist monk. The thick 38mm stanchions on the fork provide an extra dose of steering precision and performance. The mid-range brakes from Shimano do their job but could be a bit firmer. The power of the four pistons setup is only average. Taking a holistic approach also includes looking at the gearing and components. The components are of good qualtiy and offer no reason for criticism here. The handling of the bike is pleasantly balanced due to the moderate geometry. This allows you to intuitively control the bike over the trails. The bottom bracket is high, which costs handling points. This tends to make the rider stand on the bike. On other EMTBs it feels better integrated.

Conclusion

Expirience with the Orbea WILD H10

For long tours, the WILD H10 with a very strong range, a good motor and a good chassis is well equipped. Only with an average brake system you have to look away. The guarantee promise of 25 years provides trust.
