The R Raymon and GasGas brands are in the same umbrella group. This is also evident at the model level. The shape of the AirRay 10.0 and design are identical to GasGas' enduro bike.
At steep sections, the somewhat weak R Raymon motor requires a lot of initiative from the biker. The R Raymon Air Drive gives off a well-rounded riding feeling. The short range unfortunately limits the tour radius quite significantly.

At a glance

The most importanten ratings of the AirRay 10.0 in comparison to the competitor bikes of following categorie: (6000) .

Carbon frames are rather the exception in the price range of about 6000€. With the carbon fibre chassis, R Raymon thus sets clear accents compared to the aluminium competitors. On rough terrain, the AirRay 10.0 with its middle ground Rock Shox chassis lacks bit of control. The mid-range brakes from Formula do their job but could be a bit firmer. The power of the four pistons setup is only average. Wide tires provide more grip and comfort. R Raymon tends to fit narrow tires with its #reifen_inch_breite R Raymon tires. For an All Mountain, we would prefer wider treads. The average shifting components and accessories leave some tuning potential open. For most e-bikers, this should be an acceptable point. The flat head tube angle and long wheelbase provide riding stability due to the 65,5° angle. The low bottom bracket height will likely be a sticking point for trail riders, as it negatively affects handling. The scale stays at 20,4 kg with this model. That makes the AirRay 10.0 one of the light All Mountains.

Conclusion

Expirience with the R Raymon AirRay 10.0

This R Raymon is a reasonable choice for single trail lovers, even though there are stronger bikes on the market when considering the whole picture. Downhill fans should like a very good handling. Warning when choosing size: The AirRay 10.0 sizing runs big.
