R Raymon HardRay E 5.0 Review

Unlike R Raymon's cheaper e-hardtail, the HardRay E 5.0 already has a battery integrated into the downtube.
At steep sections, the somewhat weak Yamaha motor requires a lot of initiative from the biker. The Yamaha PW-ST gives off a well-rounded riding feeling. Thanks to the good range, longer tours with the HardRay E 5.0 are no problem.

At a glance

The most importanten ratings of the R Raymon HardRay E 5.0 in comparison to the competitor bikes of following categorie: (3000) .

On rough terrain, the HardRay E 5.0, with its only average fork, lacks some control. At the drivetrain components and the rest of the parts, R Raymon uses average parts. If the Meta's chainstay length is less than 445, the short chainstay and, if the Reach's Relative Rating is less than 3, the relatively short reach characterise the R Raymon as a playful, agile bike. This makes it easy to navigate through winding trails. Small wheels are becoming rare, but with the HardRay E 5.0 the 27.5 wheels pay off with a playful riding experience. For additional points in downhill handling, the low bottom bracket integrates the rider well into the bike and pulls the centre of gravity down.

Conclusion

Expirience with the R Raymon HardRay E 5.0

The eMTB market is characterised by strong competition. Especially at affordable prices, it is difficult for manufacturers to create outstanding products. The HardRay E 5.0 drives reliably in its intended use. Therefore, we recommend that sports-minded e-bikers with more off-road ambitions spend a little more money to be adequately equipped in the terrain.
