Rotwild R.E750 CORE Review

The high-torque Brose motor takes away the fear of even the steepest ramps. The combination of a natural riding feeling and a dynamic power delivery characterises the Brose Drive S Mag. Whoever enjoys longer tours will be pleased with the good range.

At a glance

The most importanten ratings of the R.E750 CORE in comparison to the competitor bikes of following categorie: (8000) .

The good Fox chassis absorbs even larger roots with the calmness of a Buddhist monk. The thick 38mm stanchions on the fork provide an extra dose of steering precision and performance. The mid-range brakes from Magura do their job but could be a bit firmer. The power of the four pistons setup is only average. The narrow #reifen_inch_breite SCHWALBE tires do not do this Enduros range of use any justice. In our opinion, Rotwild has saved weight in the wrong place here. The drivetrain and components have a subordinate but not to be neglected importance when it comes to EMTB. Even the bike brand product managers know this and don't aim too high with mostly average components. On winding trails, the playful handling comes to the fore, as the bike masters even the fastest direction changes with the short wheelbase playfully. Small wheels are becoming rare, but with the R.E750 CORE the 27.5 wheels pay off with a playful riding experience. The low bottom bracket height is a party pooper for the handling on the trail. On other bikes, you are more centrally located behind the handlebar. Due to the short chainstays and the shallow seat angle , when climbing steep sections, it requires active weight shifting to prevent the front wheel from lifting.

Conclusion

Expirience with the Rotwild R.E750 CORE

With a mediocre brake system and an average groupset, the R.E750 CORE definitely has weaknesses. Nevertheless, it remains a solid all-rounder with a wide range of abilities , thanks to a top-notch motor, a good chassis and a good range.
