The Turbo Kenevo SL Expert is one of those e-mountain bikes that can hardly be distinguished visually from a conventional mountain bike. The low-slung shock provides a low center of gravity, influencing the bike's natural handling. The minimalist display was integrated into the top tube to be protected in case of falls. You can tell from details like this: the Specialized developers know what really matters in everyday life.
At steep sections, the rather weak Specialized motor requires a lot of initiative from the biker. The Specialized SL 1.1 gives off a natural riding feeling. The short range unfortunately limits the tour radius quite significantly.

At a glance

The most importanten ratings of the Turbo Kenevo SL Expert in comparison to the competitor bikes of following categorie: (10000) .

The very good chassis with 170 mm travel also proves to have a lot of resilience even on rougher terrain. Setup-Nerds can squeeze out the maximum performance from the chassis thanks to the many setting options. The thick 38mm stanchions on the fork provide an extra dose of steering precision and performance. At the brakes, Specialized instals upper class brakes with four pistons and large brake rotors from SRAM. For an Enduro , the Specialized tires with a width of #reifen_inch_breite inches are relatively narrow. In our opinion, Specialized could have put on wider tires. The shifting and the rest of the components are always in the shadow of the engine when it comes to electric mountain bikes. Nevertheless, Specialized doesn't skimp here and instals very good components. With a flat 63,5° angle , the geometry follows the current trend. Due to the short chainstays and the shallow seat angle , when climbing steep sections, it requires active weight shifting to prevent the front wheel from lifting. Overall, the Specialized developers have done a great job with a very god geometry. The low weight combined with the very pleasant geometry ensures a very natural and agile handling. With very few other EMTBs, you forget so quickly that you are moving a bike with a motor, as with the Turbo Kenevo SL Expert.

Conclusion

Expirience with the Specialized Turbo Kenevo SL Expert

Friends of gravity should jot down the Turbo Kenevo SL Expert. With an extremely good geometry, a very good chassis and a good brake system, the Specialized is a real trail rocket even for really gnarly terrain. The generous warranty of 25 years proves that Specialized stands behind its products.
