Stevens E-Inception AM 6.6.1 Review

The Performance Line CX from Bosch shows impressively that they shouldn't be limited to DIY and household products. Also steepest climbs the Bosch motor easily climbs up well. The Bosch Performance Line CX provides a very well-rounded riding experience with a dynamic power delivery. This great combination mixed with lots of power, is something only a few other motors at Bosch's level can achieve. Thanks to the good range, longer tours with the E-Inception AM 6.6.1 are no problem.

In comparison, it's noticeable that the direct competition mounts better chassises, thus offering significantly more control. Especially for heavy riders, the Stevens brakes could be a problem. With four pistons they only decelerate averagely. The components and the shifting seem less important for Stevens. The components used here have a clear potential for improvement after a view at the competitors. The handling of the bike is pleasantly balanced due to the moderate geometry. This allows you to intuitively control the bike over the trails. The bottom bracket is high, which costs handling points. This tends to make the rider stand on the bike. On other EMTBs it feels better integrated. Short chainstays and and a slack seat angle make the front end light in steep climbs. To keep the front wheel on the ground, you need to consciously lean forward. Oh boy, with the geometry you have to be ready to make compromises from our perspective. The most important measurements and angles fall slightly out of the grid of good bikes. Also, weight is an important factor when it comes to EMTB. The E-Inception AM 6.6.1 isn't exactly shining in this regard. There are lighter All Mountains on the market.
