Stevens E-Tremalzo Review

Bosch is the major motor manufacturer in the EMTB world, alongside Shimano - and it's no surprise, as the Performance Line shows. At steep sections, the somewhat weak Bosch motor requires a lot of initiative from the rider. The Bosch Performance Line gives off a natural riding feeling. The average range can become a problem especially for long mountain bike rides.

As the bumps get bigger and rougher the average SR Suntour fork limits the downhill fun. Especially heavy riders should be aware that the Shimano only decelerates poorly. The drivetrain and components have a subordinate but not to be neglected importance when it comes to EMTB. Even the bike brand product managers know this and don't aim too high with mostly average components. The handling of the bike is pleasantly balanced due to the moderate geometry. This allows you to intuitively control the bike over the trails. Furthermore, the bike lies excellent on the trail thanks to its low bottom bracket and thus low centre of gravity. On the scale, the E-Tremalzo makes a good figure with 22,2 kg. Most Einsteiger-Bikes are significantly heavier.
