Superior eXF 8089 Review

Shimano has become the biggest component manufacturer for bicycles thanks to its gear, pedal and brake components. It's clear that the Japanese want to shape the E-Bike trend from this dominant market position. At steep sections, the somewhat weak Shimano motor requires a lot of initiative from the rider. The Shimano EP 6 RS gives off a natural riding feeling. Fans of XXL tours are greatly restricted by the eXF 8089 with only an average range.

The chassis unfortunately isn't great. Riders might lack comfort on rough terrain. The average shifting components and accessories leave some tuning potential open. For most e-bikers, this should be an acceptable point. The handling of the bike is pleasantly balanced due to the moderate geometry. This allows you to intuitively control the bike over the trails. The low bottom bracket height is a party pooper for the handling on the trail. On other bikes, you are more centrally located behind the handlebar. Due to the short chainstays and the shallow seat angle , when climbing steep sections, it requires active weight shifting to prevent the front wheel from lifting. Overall, the geometry does not seem to be up to date anymore. The competition is significantly more modern in this regard.
