Transition Relay CARBON GX axs Review

Even steep ramps are surprisingly easy to climb with the Fazua motor. At the moment, hardly any other light motor offers such a good combination of natural support, dynamic power delivery and capability. Fans of XXL tours are greatly restricted by the Relay CARBON GX axs , because of its low range.

The high-quality Fox chassis also takes away the fear of rough root sections. Bad brakes reduce the riding pleasure. Fortunately, this is not the case with the Relay CARBON GX axs. With their four pistons and 2 disc brakes the SRAM brake brakes good. The components and the gears are less in the spotlight with an EMTB than with bikes without motor. Nevertheless, when we take a look we find out that here, good components are always used. When it comes to the geometry, Transition does not go completely crazy. The head tube angle and reach values were chosen with care. The result: A balanced riding behaviour with a good combination of playfulness and straight-line stability. The bottom bracket is high, which costs handling points. This tends to make the rider stand on the bike. On other EMTBs it feels better integrated. Due to the short chainstays , when climbing steep sections, it requires active weight shifting to prevent the front wheel from lifting. With its 19,62 kg, the Relay CARBON GX axs is one of the lighter E-bikes. The competition is often significantly heavier.
