The E-Lyte 15 RSX arrives sleek and streamlined, so much so, it might be mistaken for a non-electric rig. But fret not: The #bike_motor motor provides subtle assistance right when you need it.
The SX from Bosch shows impressively that they shouldn't be limited to DIY and household products. The Swabians from Bosch are sending their first light engine into the race with the SX. With 55 Nm torque, this unit places exactly in the middle between Fazua's Ride 6 and TQ's HPR 5. However, it delivers up to 6 watts of support, similar performance figures to the popular Bosch CX. The starting behavior remains progressive. The complete motor control is very $natural. In terms of installation space and sound, the small Bosch can't quite keep up with its competitors from the Light segment. Fans of XXL tours are greatly restricted by the E-Lyte 15 RSX , because of its low range.

At a glance

The most importanten ratings of the E-Lyte 150 RSX in comparison to the competitor bikes of following categorie: (10000) .

The Rock Shox chassis provides safety and traction, even when the trail gets rougher. However, it comes to its limit at high speed. The frame on entry-level was stingy with control. At the brakes, Whyte middle class four pistons brakes by SRAM are used. The drivetrain and components have a subordinate but not to be neglected importance when it comes to EMTB. Even the bike brand product managers know this and don't aim too high with mostly average components. When it comes to the geometry, Whyte does not go completely crazy. The head tube angle and reach values were chosen with care. The result: A balanced riding behaviour with a good combination of playfulness and straight-line stability. The bottom bracket is high, which costs handling points. This tends to make the rider stand on the bike. On other EMTBs it feels better integrated. Oh boy, with the geometry you have to be ready to make compromises from our perspective. The most important measurements and angles fall slightly out of the grid of good bikes. With its 18,9 kg, the E-Lyte 15 RSX is one of the lighter E-bikes. The competition is often significantly heavier.

Conclusion

Expirience with the Whyte E-Lyte 150 RSX

This E-Lyte 15 RSX stands as a clear opponent of gravity. With its a very good motor and a very good handling, it is an excellent All Mountain for effortless uphill flow. But an average groupset is a criticism that must be honestly taken into account when assessing the whole package of this bike.
