There are few German companies with a heritage as rich as Centurion. The No Pogo SL R6i proves that having a long history doesn't mean missing out on modern trends. Indeed, the new light EMTB from Magstadt is visually alluring, not shy to flaunt its attractions.
Bosch is the major motor manufacturer in the EMTB world, alongside Shimano - and it's no surprise, as the SX shows. The Swabians from Bosch are sending their first light engine into the race with the SX. With 55 Nm torque, this unit places exactly in the middle between Fazua's Ride 6 and TQ's HPR 5. However, it delivers up to 6 watts of support, similar performance figures to the popular Bosch CX. The starting behavior remains progressive. The complete motor control is very $natural. In terms of installation space and sound, the small Bosch can't quite keep up with its competitors from the Light segment. Fans of XXL tours are greatly restricted by the No Pogo SL R6i , because of its low range.

At a glance

The most importanten ratings of the Centurion No Pogo SL R6000i in comparison to the competitor bikes of following categorie: (8000) .

Rough descents take away some of the fear thanks to the average chassis. With its four pistons and larger brake rotors the Shimano braking system decelerates extremely goodly. This allows you to maintain control over your own pace even in the steepest descents. The average shifting components and accessories leave some tuning potential open. For most e-bikers, this should be an acceptable point. When it comes to the geometry, Centurion does not go completely crazy. The head tube angle and reach values were chosen with care. The result: A balanced riding behaviour with a good combination of playfulness and straight-line stability. The bottom bracket is high, which costs handling points. This tends to make the rider stand on the bike. On other EMTBs it feels better integrated. Short chainstays and make the front end light in steep climbs. To keep the front wheel on the ground, you need to consciously lean forward. With its 18,7 kg, the No Pogo SL R6i is one of the lighter E-bikes. The competition is often significantly heavier.

Conclusion

Expirience with the Centurion No Pogo SL R6000i

Friends of gravity should jot down the No Pogo SL R6i. With a very good brake system and a very good handling, the Centurion is a real trail rocket. But a middle ground chassis are of course points of criticism that one should be aware of before purchasing. The guarantee promise of 5 years provides trust.
